Due to the rising number of graffiti and tagging issues in the City of Windcrest and Bexar County area, the Windcrest Police Department has established a graffiti hotline (210) 653-0524 for citizens to report tagging and graffiti they have witnessed. The graffiti hotline is an anonymous tip line to help identify and assist officers in the apprehension of taggers within the City of Windcrest. Citizens calling the hotline will hear an automated voice message and will be directed to press one for tagging in progress or press two to leave an anonymous message. Citizens who witness or know of a person/persons tagging public property within the City of Windcrest are asked to call the hotline and assist in the identification and prosecution of individuals tagging the city. If tagging is in progress, you may also call the main Windcrest Police Department line at (210) 655-2666 and give as much information as possible to aid officers. The Windcrest Police Department encourages everyone to use the hotline and report taggers.
